Sacred

Sex... ok, awkward subject I know... I'm sorry! But I have had something that has really just been laying on my heart lately. I believe that sex is a very sacred thing and should only be shared when you are with that special person, the person you KNOW your going to be with forever. I know at a young age it is kinda pressed on you, but at the age of like 17, 18, 19 you don't know who you are going to be with for the rest of your life your to young to even know. Sometimes that person may come into your life, but at that age your not ready. Marriage is a spiritual bond, saved for the special man/woman God puts in your life. Sex should be to. Think about it. Every time you sleep with someone that is giving you less and less of your heart to give to that special person someday. Make sure you have as much of your heart to give. Only one earthy being deserves the full contents of you heart. God is preparing a special person for you. That person deserves to get your full heart cause they are going to love you unconditionally. If they dont then they are not sent by God. Make your decisions based on your heart, not your head. A decision made from the head is made out of your own will, where a decision made from the heart is one given to you by God. Isaiah 55:8 " For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord."

  1. Wow... you really butchered that scripture verse. Really? follow your heart and not your head. That is terrible advice. Seriously, you need to evaluate yourself before posting something like that. What about Jeremiah 17:9 "the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked: who can know it?

  3. I wonder...what about 2 Corinthians 5:17 (yeah, in the King James Version)

17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When we are saved we are different person...or at least we should be. Judging from your blog post, a salvation experience that you had that your life has been turned around by God has cause you to become cynical and berating on your sister, causing her to become discouraged and then stumble in her walk with God.--Mark 9:42 (New King James Version) 42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea."

I do enjoy humor in blogs, "My hat is tipped to you, O sayer of the sooth. I can't wait to read more from you guys. In fact, I don't read "Devo's" (as you guys call them) anymore, I just follow your blogs.

"I'll probably stop reading my Bible as soon as someone is willing to email me a scripture a day."

I can't wait till you start blogging so I can read your blog for my devos. As far as the verse-a-day, I'm sure I could send you something from the Apocrypha each day...
